INTERNAL AFFAIRS OFFICER SHOWS HIS TRUE COLORS
Today I received a call from Lt. Rubin (#1175) of the Palm Beach County School District Police — the Internal Affairs officer assigned to my complaint against Chief Sarah Moody.
Instead of conducting a fair and professional review, Rubin immediately tried to dismiss the complaint, defending the chief’s failure to act on a reported criminal offense.
“I beg to differ with your perception of the matter,”
his response was:
“You can beg all you want.”
Yes — that’s how the officer tasked with holding others accountable speaks to a concerned citizen.
This is blatant bias, mockery of the complaint process, and a clear abuse of position within Internal Affairs. I have now filed a formal complaint against Lt. Rubin for:
Unprofessional Conduct
Conflict of Interest & Bias
Dereliction of Duty
Internal Affairs should protect the integrity of the department, not shield misconduct and insult the public.
The community deserves transparency, professionalism, and justice — not arrogance and coverups.
We’re not done.
We’re just getting started.
