EXPOSED: School Principal Violated District Policy to Silence a Parent
Dr. Vernicka Murray, principal of Washington Elementary, took matters into her own hands — and stepped outside School Board policy — by hiring a private attorney to send me a threatening cease-and-desist letter.
Today, I received a public records response from the Palm Beach County School District confirming:
There are no official records or authorizations between Dr. Murray and the private attorney, Thomas E. Elfers, Esq.
That means:
She bypassed the School Board’s General Counsel
No transparency, no accountability
A clear violation of School Board Policy 1.0125, which states legal advisors must be designated and approved by the Board
This wasn’t about legal process — it was about retaliation and trying to intimidate me into silence for speaking up about ongoing misconduct.
The same principal that blocked me from attending my child’s graduation, using a questionable trespass notice that was never legally justified.
Parents, advocates, and concerned citizens: this is what happens when power goes unchecked.
We must demand accountability, transparency, and respect for parental rights.
